Damla Yılmaz is an interdisciplinary designer specializing in architecture, interior architecture, furniture, and product design. After her early professional years in Istanbul, she pursued a master's degree at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, earning a scholarship through a design competition and graduating with high honors. During her studies, she gained hands-on experience working at prestigious design studios in Milan, further deepening her professional expertise.

Driven by a belief in enriching her design practice through diverse cultural influences, she moved to Germany, where she played an active role in the interior design development of large-scale projects. Through her international work in Turkey, Italy, and Germany, she acquired a comprehensive understanding of all phases of architectural design.

After years abroad, she founded STUDIO PONTE in Urla, a charming Aegean town, in a studio surrounded by olive trees. Today, she develops projects that embrace the Mediterranean spirit and timeless aesthetics, adopting a design approach that bridges past and future, East and West. By integrating interior architecture, and product design with an interdisciplinary perspective, she continues to create unique spaces and objects that blend local identity with a global design sensibility.
